I’m Juan David Toro, a spanish saxophonist based in Zürich, Switzerland. I have always been captivated by creating sound, and at the age of 10, I began using the saxophone as my primary tool for expressing it.
After graduating in Saxophone performance from the Granada Royal Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Professor Javier Linares Leyva, I continued my education at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste under the guidance of Professor Lars Mlekusch, earning an MA in Saxophone Performance and further specializing as a soloist through the MA in Soloist Performance.
My activity as a saxophonist unfolds across Switzerland, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria and Japan, performing as soloist, chamber music musician and offering masterclasses.
I am a JLV Sound Paris ambassador and Valiant Forum artist 2026.
