Juan David Toro is embarking on his first intercontinental tour, performing in Japan alongside pianist Nao Sumimura. AviNa duo expands its reach to Japanese audiences by presenting the program” 音の便り”(vol. 1) (Souvenirs in sounds, vol.1) featuring pieces by Richard Strauss, Erwin Schulhoff, Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, Alberto Posadas, Bruno Mantovani y Joaquín Turina. The project will come to life in different locations throughout the Japanese archipelago, including Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Kyoto, and back to Hiroshima. Furthermore, Juan David has been invited as a guest professor at various venues, where he will offer private lessons to Japanese saxophonists during his visit to the country.
